When to run 8mm

Go 8mm if you are running a 30mm bucket, a wide XL banger, or if you take large dabs and find your 6mm pearls running out of heat before the oil is gone. The trade off is movement: an 8mm pearl needs more room and stronger airflow to spin properly, so it will sit still in a cramped 20mm bucket where a 4mm would be flying. Match the pearl to the bucket, not the other way around.

Seven colors, two materials

How to use them

Heat your banger, let it cool into low-temp range, drop your dab, add one pearl, then cap. Terp pearls only move when air is moving over them, so a carb cap is not optional. A directional or spinner cap pushes them in a circle and keeps the oil chasing the heat. At 8mm you want a cap that really restricts airflow, since the larger pearl needs more pull to get going.

Care

Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water, and let them dry fully before the next session. A short torch after a dab burns off most residue. Avoid dropping a cold pearl into a screaming hot banger, since thermal shock is what cracks glass.
