Quartz Bangers

What is a Quartz Banger?

A quartz banger also referred to as a dab nail is a type of dabbing tool used for smoking concentrates such as wax and shatter. Basically, it’s a special kind of nail that fits into any standard water pipe or rig. A quartz banger consists of two parts: the adaptor base that fits onto a rig and the bucket (which is heated to vaporize the concentrate). It comes in several different shapes and sizes, so you can choose one that best fits your device.

What do all the sizes mean on the White Rhino Bangers?

how to choose banger style

A. The first number on the White Rhino Bangers is the degree. 45 degree or 90 degree angle. Depending what you are adding the banger to will determine the angle needed. An inline waterpipe or rig will need a 90 degree banger which is most common. A standard beaker base style waterpipe will usually use a 45 degree banger which is less common to use.

B. The second number refers to the style and the size of the adaptor. The style is either male or female and size 10mm, 14mm and 19mm.

C.  The last mm is the thickness of the glass. White Rhino banger come in either 2mm or 4mm thick quartz bangers. 2MM will heat up quicker and cool down quicker, compared to 4MM that will retain heat longer.

How Do You Use a Quartz Banger?
Using your quartz banger is actually quite simple; all you need to do is heat up the bucket with a torch. Once the bucket has reached your desired temperature (usually between 500–700 degrees Fahrenheit), place your concentrate inside using an applicator tool or dab tool. Then, inhale slowly. It is best to use a carb cap and even terp pearls to trap the heat and vaporize it efficiently.

How Do You Clean a Banger?
Cleaning your quartz banger is just as easy as using it; simply pour some rubbing alcohol into the bucket and let it sit for at least 10 minutes before scrubbing away any residue with a lint free swab. After that, rinse off any excess alcohol with warm water and allow it to air dry before putting it back together with your water pipe or rig.
